- Ginger root (5 cm length)
- 1 liter of water
- Honey, to taste
Bring the water to a boil, add chopped ginger root and cook for another 5 minutes on low heat. Strain the tea and add honey to taste. Drink the tea while it is still warm. Ginger tea will keep your appetite under control and will give you a longer satiety feeling. It can be prepared from fresh root or powdered ginger. It is important to drink 250 ml of ginger tea 15 minutes before a meal. Ginger can be combined with other foods and herbs such as lemon and mint which will help you lose weight faster.
